Sales Associate
As a Sales Associate at Northwest Parts Company, you’ll be the face of the business, helping customers find the right automotive parts, tools, and supplies for their needs. You’ll assist both retail and wholesale customers, provide product knowledge, process orders, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. This role blends customer service with automotive knowledge and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide auto parts answers and solutions for our retail and wholesale customers in person at the counter or over the phone
- Use your parts knowledge to assist other team members with answering questions for customers
- Providing outstanding customer care and interactions with everyone who comes into the store
- Use technology (computer), cash register, telephone, and paper catalog system
Requirements
- Minimum 18 years of age with a valid driver's license
- Have a high school diploma, GED, or trade school degree
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Great listening skills and empathy for customers
Preferred Skills
- Background in the automotive industry
- Experience in a retail store
- Knowledge of cataloging and inventory management systems
- ASE Certification
